I am most honest in a bathtub,
watching water rise.
Give me the open window,
bleached tile, seclusion,
an opportunity
to drown.
Each time I step out strong, clean
down to the molecule,
recalibrated.
I have remembered I am
only one body.
The Personal Writings of Hailey M Williams
I am most honest in a bathtub,
watching water rise.
Give me the open window,
bleached tile, seclusion,
an opportunity
to drown.
Each time I step out strong, clean
down to the molecule,
recalibrated.
I have remembered I am
only one body.
Beautiful poem.
